A Diary Of Things To Come
0 toes just touched the water
It was the only legitimate ray of light this city has seen in ages. The name was Sunny, as it will be subsequently mentioned from now on. She was bound to ramble through the Busy street every time the sun dared to shed his wide arms on this place. That became one of the few certainties i learnt to breath. Gravitational fields would pull the warring star back in scene, water would then counteract that same gravitational force on a sudden mood change, avoiding the routinely evaporation. Only if these conditions are met, could she be seen rambling across so many like her but not exactly like her. Her stand made all the difference. Not just her stand... but let's keep something for later, shall we ?
Afterall, she was there. Now sun means Sunny and Sunny means stand. In fact, it meant problem. I had to get her away from it. But then again, that meant taking her away from the reason she was there. Or was it because of the sun ?
I wasn't ready to find an answer yet. Time went by, fates were sealed and memories were kept.
Upon return it was clear what had to be done. The key to my willingness, lost for so long, was again in my possession. The reigning clearness derived from that. I have a grip on my will again.
Speaking on wonderful, it's beautiful what a single recently sprouted flower and a handful of words can do. And true words, let's not be mistaken. On a dark and grey place like this, where all people resemble and are symbiotically entangled to the ground they walk on and the air they breath, she is Sunny. A spring of irradiating light on that grey and Busy street where she stands, with her stand.
Sunny cast me a challenge. The only way i had to take her from the meandering stand she had with her all times. As she could not know, she had the most stubborn of men in front of her. Now, problems were no problem at all and the answer came quick to be. So there i stood, near her stand, with only a huge handwritten sign made of carton and my heart in my hands.
I did make her close her shop and come with me. And as i soon found out, people are not so grey in this grey place as i thought them to be.
The sign read: "I want to go out with this girl -> / Her condition: Sell 15 piercings in the next 30 minutes so she can close shop / Would you care to join the cause of a man striving for light ?"
